The suspects approached the victim while he was getting in his car and started to rob him of his belongings and his vehicle.
The men can be seen beating the victim and constantly searching him in order to remove valuables off him. The suspects then proceed to kick the victim in the head before leaving.
Lieutenant Kay Makhubela, Gauteng police’s provincial spokesperson said, “It was an unfortunate incident that was difficult to prevent. I urge the public to make themselves aware of their surroundings and notify the authorities if they see anything suspicious and stay in a safe position until they arrive. The victim complied with the suspects and did not resist, avoiding eye contact is also important.”
